During your stay in Maastricht, you can count on ESN to provide you with all the excitement you need, and more. ESN consists of a board, which will be helped by 'active members' to ensure that your stay in this lively city will be unforgetable!
Introducing the Board:
Hey all,
Welcome to Maastricht, the greatest student city of the Netherlands! My name is Ingeborg and I will be the president of ESN Maastricht for the upcoming year. I hope that you will have the best semester of your life here, and it is our task to help you with that! Upcoming two semesters I will be finishing my Health Sciences bachelor. Besides studying I am a member of the Sorority Les Sacripantes here in Maastricht. I can definitely say that this has helped me to experience Maastricht at its best. This city has a lot to offer on the level of partying and having drinks in town. However, on a cultural level Maastricht is also the most beautiful city of Holland. Through various activities and trips you will get to know Maastricht and the Netherlands. We of ESN will make sure that your Erasmus-experience will be the best! I am looking forward to meeting you all!
Kind regards,
Ingeborg
Welcome to Maastricht and prepare for some of the best months of your life! I am Maud Verhaak, I am 21 years old and I will be full-filling the position of Secretary within the board of ESN Maastricht this year. I study International Business and I'm a member of the student association M.S.V. Tragos. Even though born in Holland, I spend most of my life in Belgium and South Africa, so I know the feeling of adapting to a new country, people and life! I can't wait to meet you all and show you all that Maastricht/ The Netherlands has to offer. I am pretty sure this coming academic year is going to be a blast! Hopefully I will see you all at our International Drinks every Tuesday night at the Kadans.
Cheers,
Maud
Hello and welcome to Maastricht! I hope you enjoy some of the best months of your life here on your exchange (we will definitely try to make sure you do!). My name is Linda, I am 19 years old and I come from a beautiful city called Riga (Latvia). I am currently in my second year of European Studies and outside of studies I love partying (obviously, as any student does), listening to music, watching movies and doing sports. I came to Maastricht to enjoy an international experience and meet people from all over the world, so I am very excited to be a part of ESN this year. I am looking forward to meeting you all, partying or just hanging out with you guys. I am also already looking forward to my own Erasmus semester on my third year, so I hope this will be an unforgettable experience for you and I will do my best to help in any way that I can.
Cheers,
Linda
Hi everyone,
First of all I would like to welcome all of you to the most beautiful city of the Netherlands: Maastricht! My name is Danny Janssen and I am 23 years old. As of this semester I will be the PR-coordinator of the board of ESN Maastricht. Having spend my fall semester in Rouen, France I noticed the importance of an organization guiding/helping you especially in your first few days! I have to say that last semester was one of the best I ever had and I hope I can help you enjoy your stay here in Maastricht as well. Next to me being a board member of ESN I am also finishing up my bachelor in International Business at the SBE and it is quite likely that I will meet some of you not only in a social aspect but also in our classrooms. Rests me only to say that I am looking forward to meeting all of you guys and that I hope you will enjoy your time in Maastricht!
Cheers,
Danny
Hey all,
First of all, welcome to Maastricht! While reading this you might not exactly know what to expect, but I can assure you: the upcoming months are going to be unforgettable and really awesome!!!
My name is Claire Hofman and I’m 21 years old. I study Tax Law, and will start the master Direct Taxes is September. Next to that I teach courses at the Law Faculty.
I was born in a small town close to Rotterdam, and after that me and my family (I’ve got one brother and one sister) moved to Varese, Italy. I had a great time over there, but we had to move back to Holland after three years, which is why I spent most of my childhood in Amersfoort (close to Utrecht).
I’ve been living in Maastricht for 4 years now, and I have had the greatest time over here. Especially the last year, when I became an active member of ESN Maastricht. Exchange students are so much fun, and ESN Maastricht is the greatest organization I know in Maastricht. That’s why I decided to apply for a board function.
As Activities Coordinator I’ll try to arrange the most awesome activities (trips, parties, beer rallies, cantus) for you, and hopefully help to make your time here a great success! I’m really looking forward to meet you all!
