Our standard bar on monday's enjoys quite the international atmosphere. This is the place where we hold our international drinks and for you sportlovers they usually show live matches of for instance football (soccer). Throughout the week they have several beer specials and during happy hour from 22.00 - 23.00 and Erdinger (0,5 Litre) only costs 2,50!

Platielstraat

This is a side street of the Vrijthof where several bars are located. One of them, called the Joie de Vivre, you will see during the pub crawl. Several other bars include the C'est la Vie, Twee Heeren, Falstaff, Cliniqu, de van Bommel and the dikke Dragonder. Located in a side street there is the Allebonheur (short: Alla) which opens at midnight and is open until 05.00.

Market

On the Market there are several student bars open untill 05.00/06.00. These bars are quite popular amongst Dutch students, especially on monday, wednesday and thursday. They sometimes have several beer discounts (in Dutch called 'piekfust' it closely resembles a happy hour but usually has different time restrictions and is usually only for beer). They are called the Feesfebrik, Printemps, FM Kaffee and Cafe Defile.

Other

Of course these are not the only bars, closer by to the guesthouse there is for instance the Shamrock. A bit further in town there is a bar called John Mullins. Both these bars have quite an international environment as well, both of them are open until 02.00.

Belgium

Versuz

The Versuz is a club in Belgium, there is a one-time entrance fee. At thursday night there's a student night with beer only costing € 1,00. We as ESN do not organise trips to the Versuz but of course you are welcome to visit this club. We know that a company specialized in these trips organises a trip towards the Versuz on during the semester so keep checking out our website!

This is a club located 30 minutes away from Maastricht and has several nice themenights especially on thursday, friday and saturday. Different themes ranging from Neighbour Nites to Bubble Gum nights makes this a good alternative when you want to party outside of Maastricht, yet so close that you can actually still take a bus towards it.
