In this section you will find a selection of places where students, even with a tight budget, go when they are going out to diner.

Deli Belge

Location: Tongersestraat 44

Located near the SBE this is not a restaurant but a place to grab a good sandwhich priced between 2-4 euros. Usually quite busy especially during the times between classes of both the SBE and Law students as it is one of their favourite places to get a sandwhich.

Kiwi

Location: Ezelmarkt 15 (next to the Student Services Centre)

A good place for either a small bite, or for a hamburger that is sure to fill up your stomache! For the brave among us there is a burger called the Burgermeister containin 600 gr. of meat (!). Another nice element of Kiwi is that it's employees are very internationally orientated. When you show your ESN-card you will get the first drink for free!

Preuverij

Location: Kakeberg 6 (also next to the SSC)

A nice place for everybody to go and usually quite filled with students. With the dish of the day costing only 8 euro's and everybody knowing how the saté of the Preuverij tastes it's a place you should 've eaten at least once. Especially students of the SBE are found often in this bar.

Ma van Sloun

Located between the SBE and law faculty it's a place that serves good food for a good price. Also popular are their day-dishes, which are always split up in either fish, meat or vegetarian so if you are feeling fishy that day you know there will be a day dish for ya.

Donatello's

Location: Tongersestraat 30

An Italian restaurant located very near to the SBE they have a special, not only student,  3 course menu they offer from monday until wednesday for only 10,95! You can choose between two starters, every single pizza or pasta and get a desert or coffee whatever you choose.

Lure

Location: Grote Looiersstraat 17

Located near the University Library in the city centre it's a café that's always filled up with students when the weather is good. You can also get a good meal here for a reasonable price, especially when you want to get a quick bite to eat between studying in the library.

Malle Babbe

Location: Markt 68

This Grand Café located at the market square in Maastricht has a special offer on monday and tuesday costing only 7,50! For this you can chose between either saté or spareribs served with fries and a small side salad.

Pizzaria Napoli

Location: Markt 73

This pizzaria is located on the Market square as Malle Babbe is and offers student discounts of up to twenty percent when you show your UM Card. A good cheap place to get a pizza or a pasta.
